Fashion Benefit in Miami: Pantene Presents "Dar Esta De Moda" w/Telemundo's Rashel Diaz and Designer Rosita Hurtado

Hello my beauty and fashion stalkers!!!! I am so excited to bring you all the scoop on an amazing event that I attended last week sponsored by Pantene! Dar Esta' De Moda was a benefit fashion show for the "Fundacion Entre Nosotros" which is a foundation making a difference to help women who have been victims of violence. It was an amazing evening held at the Coral Gables Women's Club that featured a charity fashion show from renowned designer, Rosie Hurtado and of a course hair show by the amazing celebrity stylist and creative director, Gabriel Samra! It was also an evening to remember with celebrity guests that surprised us on and off the catwalk. Hosted by the fabulous latin television personality, Rashel Diaz who definitely brought her own touch of elegance to the show. “Dar Está de Moda” by Pantene Hairstylist Gabriel Samra
Last week at Dar Está de Moda,
Telemundo’s “Un Nuevo Día” host, Alessandra Villegas surprised guests
by closing Rosita Hurtado’s evening gown fashion show in a gorgeous
outright pale pink bridal dress.
Aside from the beautiful dress, she looked stunning with a long pink
veil hanging from a hairpiece made of pink roses. Pantene hairstylist
Gabriel Samra tells us how to create this look:
“Alessandra was
going to be a bride but also wanted to walk the red carpet so I needed
to create a hairstyle that would work with the bridal hairpiece, and
that would also look trendy for the red carpet… so
we decided to go with this look, perfect for a summer wedding or a
night out,” said Gabriel.
Step 1:
Blow-dry hair completely using a round brush. Place the brush
underneath the hair, with the blow-dryer on top to help straighten the
hair. Then use a curly
iron throughout your head.
Step2:
Divide hair in to 2 sections (front and back). Gather the hair from the
back in a low ponytail. Secure with a rubber band to use as a base.
Then twist it
into a bun.
Step 3: Part the front section in the middle in two equal sides and bring them back loosely to cover the rubber band.
Step 4: Use small bobby pins to secure the hair as it falls naturally in place and spray hair liberally with
Pantene Pro-V Flexible Hold Hairspray
to keep the look in place.Her Red Carpet look:
The show then closed with a walk thru of the looks and designer Rosie Hurtado being escorted out with Maki Soler and Jorge Bernal.
